Troy has worked for over 10 years as an Integrated Rating (Cert III Transport & Distribution) in Australia’s offshore oil & gas industry, renowned for it’s professionalism and safety culture.

An important part of his training has included being a part of emergency response teams specifically for Fire Fighting (STCW 95 Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting), Helideck Operations (HDFF – Respond to Helideck Incident), Man Overboard (STCW 95 Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats) and Abandon Ship (STCW 95 Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats, Personal Survival Techniques).

Troy also holds certification in Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET), Intermediate Rigging, Enter & Work in a Confined Space, Undertake Confined Space Rescue, Gas Test Atmospheres, Work Safely at Heights, Operate Breathing Apparatus, Boom Type Elevating Work Platform and Forklift Truck.

Having worked on a vast array of offshore vessels and projects, Troy’s hands-on experience in high risk work allows him to provide a relatable insight to safety.
